Dominican Sister Elizabeth Dunn, director at Hope Rural School in Indiantown, was recognized by the Diocese of Palm Beach’s Office of Catholic Schools at an administrators meeting May 1 at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola. She received a plaque from Bishop Gerald M. Barbarito and Gary Gelo, diocesan school superintendent, on her leaving Hope Rural, where she served from 2015-2025, to be prioress of her community. Others honored were Linda Trethewey, who is retiring as head of school at Rosarian Academy, and Christian Brother Daniel Aubin, who died April 21.
