Lumen Christi Award Recipient - Rene Alonso

For the last 8 years, Rene has been a true model and example of Stewardship at St. Ann parish and school. As an active parishioner, he lives the Gospel in a concrete way by sharing, volunteering and giving of his Time, Treasure and Talent for the wellbeing of our parish and school. The list is too long to state the projects that he has undertaken.

Rene has been blessed by God as an outstanding professional contractor. He is one of the best in his field. We have witnessed his eye to every detail. He is a daily communicant in tuned with the Gospel, who is aware of his blessings. In turn, his heart is open to give and give as we see his love and commitment to his lovely wife, his children, his grandchildren, family, friends and his faith community of St. Ann.

Rene belongs to our School Advisory board, and to our Finance council. Every year, he and his family volunteer at our Harvest Festival. Since he talks the talk and walks the walk, it is no surprise that his two beautiful grandchildren, Ronan and Olivia, attend our school.

Words alone cannot express the gratitude that our community has for Rene Alonso. Suffice to say, we are a richer and better community, a community deeply blessed by this humble servant of God. Congratulations Rene!!!
